I adore the scent of lavender; it calms and soothes me. Making a bottle of lavender linen spray is one of my favourite simple rituals. I lightly spritz sheets or pillowcases before storing them in the airing cupboard, so not only does the cupboard smell lovely, but fresh beds smell wonderful too.
If I’m feeling stressed or overtired, I’ll give pillows and sheets a gentle spritz about half an hour before bed to help me relax.

*Health caution: Some essential oils are not suitable for certain health conditions or pregnancy. Check suitability before use and consult a qualified aromatherapist if in doubt. Always store oils and homemade sprays out of reach of children.
I’m comfortable spraying linen spray on bedding and around the home; a few moisture droplets may land on soft furnishings. If you have delicate or expensive items, take care to spray away from them to avoid any marks.
Try a summer simmer pot for a seasonal scent.
