Disney’s Wilderness Lodge hides a delightful secret: a Hidden Mickey Scavenger Hunt. We tried it on a rainy day and had a wonderful time exploring the lodge while staying dry.
Stop by the front desk to request the Scavenger Hunt page. There are actually two separate hunts—one for the main lobby area of Wilderness Lodge and another for Boulder Ridge—14 Hidden Mickeys altogether.
This scavenger hunt isn’t widely publicized on Disney’s site, so here’s a clear guide to help you and your family enjoy the search for Hidden Mickeys around Wilderness Lodge and Boulder Ridge.
My kids love hunting for Hidden Mickeys—it’s one of their favorite activities when we visit Disney. Below are clues and photos to guide you. Spoiler alert: we show the Hidden Mickeys in the images but avoid pinpointing exact locations so you can have the fun of finding them yourself.
Wilderness Lodge Scavenger Hunt
There are six Hidden Mickeys scattered throughout the Wilderness Lodge lobby area. Use the clues and photos to track them down.
Hidden Mickey #1
Colors are pressed into rock; find me near a corner and look upward. This spot will keep you warm and dry.
Hidden Mickey #2
Mickey appears to be driving high above—find him on a sign that points the way, near areas to work out or play.
Hidden Mickey #3
When exploring is the aim, this Mickey has staked a claim. Look for a pot—or a pot-like detail—to discover this one.
Hidden Mickey #4
Check decorative glass or a map-like feature in the ceiling area; this Mickey hides among details you might glance over while enjoying a drink or a meal.
Hidden Mickey #5
Wander the hallways—this Mickey can be found on multiple floors. Look down; a detail in the flooring is your clue.
Hidden Mickey #6
In the canyon-like lobby area near the fireplace, a Mickey shape is tucked into the fireplace screen.
Boulder Ridge Hidden Mickey Hunt
Boulder Ridge contains eight Hidden Mickeys to find in and around its lobby and entrance. This hunting-lodge-themed area is a perfect spot to hide small Mickey details.
Hidden Mickey #1
Among beaver, deer, and snake motifs, a knot in a log hides the first Mickey.
Hidden Mickey #2
Find a pattern of diamonds and moons representing months—one diamond is absent and that detail contains a Mickey.
Hidden Mickey #3
Look at the fireplace mantel in a small nook. Up near the top of the stonework a subtle Mickey is carved or formed in the masonry.
This one was tricky, so we included an outlined image to make it easier to spot.

Check framed artwork of rivers and streams—while the picture itself doesn’t show a Mickey, the frame or nearby detail does.

In the Carolwood Pacific room, which celebrates trains, a Mickey hides near the mantle by the warmth.
We weren’t able to capture a photo of this particular Mickey—apologies for that omission.

Decorative car motifs include a diamond-shaped pattern; four small diamonds form a grouping that reveals this Mickey.
Hidden Mickey #7
Head toward the laundry area and walk down the hall. Inspect the wood near the bottom of the wall for a subtle Mickey shape.

The final Mickey is hidden in the stones of a room featuring phones—look carefully to spot this last one.
