Festive Holiday Dessert Table Ideas for QVC Shoppers

CHRISTMAS-DESSERT-TABLE

Desserts, crafts, and entertaining are three of my favorite things, and dessert tables are one of the biggest trends in entertaining right now. They create memorable photo moments and give you a simple way to convey a theme to guests. I had so much fun styling this dessert table for QVC — every sweet on the table came from QVC’s holiday selection. Because the desserts were already prepared, I could focus on styling and creating a cohesive, festive display. Below I share how I designed the table and easy styling tips you can use to serve each treat with holiday flair.

For this holiday table I chose a color palette that works for many winter celebrations: gold, white, seafoam green, pastel turquoise, and silver. The white plate pictured above was dressed up with gold stickers to display Harry London Peanut Butter Buckeyes. I used white square plates throughout the table to create clean, elegant groupings that still feel warm and seasonal.

To add height and visual interest, I stacked and wrapped boxes to create tiers. I reused three Cheryl’s Cookies boxes, covered them with decorative paper, and secured ribbon around each to form a tier for the cake stand. Other dessert boxes that arrived with the QVC items were wrapped in brown postal paper and finished with ribbon and gold bows to look like little gifts. Clear vases filled with gold and silver ornaments, glittery miniature trees, and a chevron backdrop made from gold glitter paper completed the look.

The QVC desserts featured on the table include: 1. Cheryl’s 36-piece deluxe assorted cookie box, 2. Harry London Peanut Butter Buckeye Special, 3. Big Little Fudge 24-piece fudge assortment, 4. Cheryl’s 10-piece assorted brownie box, 5. Mrs. Prindables 24-count gourmet chocolate-covered caramel pretzels, 6. Harry London Signature Peppermint Bark, 7. Harry London Signature Holiday Truffles, 8. Mrs. Prindable’s 16 individual-size CandyBar apples, and 9. Cheryl’s Pecan Butternut Balls.

Ready to style desserts? Here are a few simple, festive ideas using everyday items you likely already have at home.

cookie-cake

Stacked gourmet cookies make an instant centerpiece. I arranged assorted frosted cookies from Cheryl’s on a cake stand to resemble a layered cake — the variety of colors makes the display playful and inviting.

Harry London Peanut Butter Buckeyes are always a crowd-pleaser. I served them on a white plate and added seasonal accents: pine cones lightly dusted with gold glitter inside a wooden strawberry basket, plus my DIY wrapped boxes in the background to reinforce the holiday theme.

Mrs. Prindable’s individual CandyBar apples feel nostalgic and fun. For a simple styling touch, fold a small piece of washi tape over each stick and trim the ends into a ribbon shape. It’s a charming detail that’s quick to do and looks polished.

caramel-apple

Place apples on a natural element like a small tree trunk coaster and surround them with glittered pine cones in baskets for a cozy, wintry vignette. This keeps the presentation playful enough for kids while still elevated for adult guests.

fudge

No holiday spread is complete without fudge. I served Big Little Fudge on a plate with a gold-and-white striped wooden spoon for a festive touch. The brand’s playful flavor names and tongue-in-cheek branding add personality to the table.

Cheryl’s square brownies begged to be wrapped like small gifts, so I tied them with gold-and-white twine. Their clean geometric shape contrasted nicely with round Harry London truffles nearby. A few gold ornaments and a ribbon in light turquoise helped tie the whole display together.
