Ingredients

US Customary – Metric
  • 8 ounce wild Alaskan salmon fillet
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven on the broil setting.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until smooth.
  • Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Spread about three-quarters of the honey mixture over the salmon, coating both sides. Place the fillet skin-side down on the sheet and drizzle the remaining glaze on top.Position the rack 4–5 inches from the broiler and broil the salmon 4–5 minutes per side, or until just cooked through and flaky.
  • Season with sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. For extra protein, serve over quinoa or brown rice; otherwise, pair with a crisp side salad.
