Homemade Ranch Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dry buttermilk powder
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons dried chives
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a small bowl, mix well, and store in a sealed jar. Keep refrigerated for up to 3 months.
  • Conversion: 3 tablespoons of this seasoning equals one typical store-bought packet.
  • To make ranch dressing: whisk 1 tablespoon of the mix with 1/3 cup mayonnaise and 2–3 tablespoons milk. For best flavor, let it rest for a while before serving.
  • To make a dip: combine 3 tablespoons of the mix into 2 cups sour cream and chill before serving.
